Princess Asha Okojie-Odigie Resigns From Labour Party

Former aspirant of the Labour Party, LP, in the Edo Governorship election, Princess Asha Okojie-Odigie has resigned from the party.

 A press statement made available to journalists in Benin City indicates that she submitted her resignation letter to her Ward 5 chairman, Comrade Ahusimere Macaulay in  Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The letter reads: "Please accept this formal notice of my resignation as a member of the Labour Party effective 20th of May, 2024. While I am stepping down from my membership in the labour party, my commitment to supporting causes that bring progress and development to Edo State and the county at large remains steadfast".

Princess Okojie-Odigie, a humanitarian per excellence said she will continue to advocate for the principles of equality, fairness, justice and inclusivity in all her dealings.

She thanked  the party for the support and love extended to her over the years.
