The governorship aspirant of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP for the Edo gubernatorial election on September 21,  Ndidi Key Patience has promised to make Edo State thrive economically if elected governor of the state.

She further said that one can only show leadership through the provision of necessary amenities, such as good health,  accessable good roads, affordable education and industries that will bring development to the state.

She made this disclosure today while addressing her teaming supporters as part of her electioneering campaign for the coming election.

According to her, "It is not  about my being a woman. It is about idea, competency and capability to deliver the dividends of democracy to the Edo citizens which she represents. "Visionary is what I will bring to the table".

She promised to  put a stop to women trafficking and prostitution among young women in the state, just as she appealed to Edo people, especially the women to work with her in order to achieve victory come  September 21 this year.

Ndidi promised to build an environment that  would grow small scale businesses, adding  that she would not want Edo people to suffer any  longer.  She therefore begged the people to vote her as she represents the ideal person to develop the state in all Its ramifications.

She said she left her comfort zone to contest for the governorship position because of the love she has for Edo people just as she expressed her preparedness to lift the people out of poverty and improved upon their lives in the most positive way.

"One of my visions is that when Edo get it right, other states in the country will follow suit. With the support of the people,  I  will succeed in the task ahead.  Let us work together.  The things are doable. It is PRP that will bring the desired change. We will emulate the legacy of those who served this country well. Leaders who served well to prepare the future for the upcoming generation".
