The Edo Legacy Foundation Inc, To Recognize impactful change-makers in Niger Delta

The Edo Legacy Foundation Inc, Publishers of Brivins Magazine International and organizers of the prestigious Niger Peace Ambassador Awards and Special Green Plate Number, Okpiaoba Amb. (Engr.) Pedro Omo-Aghahowa says he has chosen to lead a campaign for propagating its foundation, our cultural identify and rich history. 

Also, the organization is to recognize 30 most impactful change-makers in the Niger Delta region and the Nigerian society in general.

Amb. Omo-Aghahowa made this disclosure yesterday  at the launch of a Skills Acquisition House in Ehor,  Ohunmwode Local Government Area, presentation of prestigious Niger Delta Peace Ambassador and special Plate Number and unveiling of Bravins Magazine International.

He paid great tribute to His Royal Majesty, Oba Erediauwa who he said initiated the foundation to promote  Edo culture and values, adding that for that singular reason, he has been working hard to sustain and keep the foundation going.

"I decided on my own to expand the organization for profitable initiative by  coming out with the Bravins Magazine International. We are using the foundation to search for restive youths and rehabilitate them to grow the economy for the benefit of the Niger Delta regions".

"The prestigious Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Awards is a platform strategically dedicated to celebrate and recognize outstanding and excellent accomplishments of Africans within the continent and in the Diaspora who have excelled in politics, business, entertainment, philanthropy, arts, culture, social innovation, science and technology ".

"The ceremony celebrates and brings together influential change-makers and serial investors who intentionally drive the society towards greatness. These awards do not only recognize outstanding achievements but also inspire others to strive for excellence and innovation ".

Omo-Aghahowa said the prestigious Niger Delta Peace Ambassador World-wide in partnership with the United Nations Peace Volunteers and Resolution, Edo Legacy Foundation Inc, and Bravins Magazine International have recognized the contributions of these individuals by honouring them as the 30 most impactful change-makers in the Niger Delta.  He added that these are some of the remarkable achievements of these individuals.

Continuing, he said that the 30 most impactful change-makers in the Niger Delta Region come from diverse backgrounds, adding that they all share a deep commitment to making tremendous positive impacts im the society.

"We must invest in education and skills training to equip our people for the jobs of the future. We must promote innovations and entrepreneurship to unleash the creative potentials of our youth. We must strengthen our institutions of governance and uphold the rule of law to create an environment conducive for investment and economic growth ".

He thanked those who have been supporting the organization for their kind contributions for the past 20 years of the organization's existence.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the anniversary cake and presentation of awards to some deserving awardees.
