Esan Muslims Community Congratulates Okpebholo on his election victory, Urges Edo People's Support

Esan Muslims Community (EMC), in Benin City has sent a message of congratulations to the Edo State Governor-elect Monday Okpebholo on his election victory.

Monday Okpebholo was on Sunday September 22, 2924 declared winner of the Edo 2024 Governorship poll in the State. 

The EMC in Benin made up of Muslims from the Edo Central Senatorial District which the governor elect currently represents at the senate, conveyed their message vide a statement signed by Its Chairman, Alhaji Shaibu Elimihele.

The statement read in parts, "We are thrilled with your victory in the just concluded Edo State Off Cycle Governorship Elections. Your victory is no doubt an attestation of the confidence and trust the good people of Edo State have in you as a committed and dedicated visionary leader who will strive to realize their aspirations and hope.

"We have no doubt that Edo people will benefit immensely from your rich experience, ability, empathy and wisdom Allah (SWT) has endowed you with".

The group expressed its willingness to join hands with the governor elect and his team as  they strive to put in place enabling policies and programmes that will uplift the economic and social well- being of all Edo people.

While wishing him a successful inauguration on November 12, 2024 in as Governor, the EMC urged Edo people to give all necessary support to the budding administration to achieve the desired success.
